Kneip is an art, craft and design studio, founded by Jørgen Platou Willumsen and Stian Korntved Ruud. Kneip started in spring 2014 as an online store with clean, simple products with a focus on tradition, materials and craftsmanship. All products are handmade, and are either unique or made in small series.

PRODUCTS FOR THE EXHIBITION
PAT.VOL 1 - Pat.vol 1 is an experimental project in which Kneip has used various techniques to explore the surfaces and colors of steel. Over the past few years, Kneip has worked a lot with brass, copper and steel, and over time gained insight into how we can use chemicals to start processes that will oxidize the metal. In many ways, we are starting a process that will be constantly changing over time. The Pat Vol.1 series has a close relationship with some of Kneip's greatest sources of inspiration, nature, weather and geometry.
