Lillunn's contribution to the exhibition Norway Designs NÅ vol. 4 has been developed in collaboration with product designer Kaja Dahl. The result consists of four unisex products inspired by and for TUR and will be launched in autumn 2017. Lillunn's original brand name Lillunn Sport has been an important inspiration for Kaja, who has brought out references and ideas from the 60-year-old archive at the Lillunn factory. The designer himself has been on tour during the project period and brought impulses from Cape Town and Paris back to Lillunn. Mixed with new elements such as waxed canvas in bright colors and functional details such as specially designed ribbons from Møre Båndveveri, the products add a breath of fresh air and mark a new direction for the brand.
In addition to a seat pad and a new interpretation of one of our most classic jackets UNN in Norwegian lamb's wool, named after Lillunn's founder, Kaja has introduced two new product categories, sacks and caps. The TUR products complement each other in use and aim to create smart local production.
