With "Klopp" we wanted to create a solid block of solid wood - an object you should be able to use every day for the rest of your life. A klopp is the term for a kind of primitive bridge over shallow rivers, and the name alludes to the flat stones that form a klopp.
The side profile means that the felt has a slight tilt towards the tabletop, which reflects the stability of the product.
"Klopp" is of course great for slicing and slicing, but as it is lifted slightly off the tabletop, it is also great for presenting food on.
