Baby Hat from Aiayu is a soft and warm hat made from a mixture of 82% undyed Ilama and 18% recycled polyamide. The yarn is produced and the hat knitted in Nepal.

Undyed Ilama has its color from nature and has not been treated with any kind of chemical process. The color is therefore completely natural, and at the same time as beautiful as nature itself. A hat that is timeless, warm and beautiful - completely in line with Aiayu's philosophy.

Aiayu - pronounced [ai-ya-yu] - means 'soul' in the indigenous Aymara language of Bolivia. Their label was founded in 2005 by Maria Høgh Heilmann to create products with consideration for the environment, the worker and the user. Fabrics are chosen for their structures and tactile properties, how they feel against the skin. The gentle, natural palette reveals materials and yarns primarily in their natural color without the use of chemical dyes. The garments are made in Bolivia, India and Nepal and are closely linked to their origins and people.

Wool is a self-cleaning fiber that requires less frequent washing. Simply air out the garment for a fresh feel.

Gentle hand wash at 30 degrees with high-quality wool soap. Soak in soapy water for 10-15 minutes. Rinse in water at 30 degrees. Avoid twisting the garment during the process. Dry flat.
