Bernadotte Thermal jug 1L

Kr 2.220

The stylish and popular Bernadotte thermos jug combines the beauty of classic Scandinavian design with modern functionality. The simple and beautiful jug, which was originally developed by Prince Sigvard Bernadotte in 1938, has had its design continued into a modern vacuum thermos.

Sigvard Bernadotte was the son of the Swedish king, but created a career for himself as one of Georg Jensen's earliest collaborators. Influenced by the functionalist movement that excelled at the time, his designs are characterized by sophistication and elegance, but never at the expense of practicality.

The distinct, beautiful pitcher is masterfully crafted in chrome-plated stainless steel with a specially coated inner container that prevents flavor transfer. The lid has a push button that prevents the jug from dripping and keeps the drink hot or cold for up to 6 hours.

With a history spanning more than 100 years, Georg Jensen represents unique craftsmanship and timeless aesthetic design ranging from small silverware to watches, jewelery and products for the home.

Georg Jensen's own philosophy was to create democratic design with both functionality and beauty. His craftsmanship and artistic talent, combined with his ability to identify and support design talent, were the foundations on which he built the Georg Jensen business in Copenhagen in 1904.
