Georg Jensen Bernadotte Tray Smoked Oak/Steel
The board is beautifully made in smoked oak with a stainless steel handle characterized by the art deco style from the iconic designer Sigvard Bernadotte. The board has a lacquered surface which provides extra resistance to stains and scratches. In a masterful way, the tray combines functionality and beauty, and is a perfect size for serving breakfast in bed or cocktails at a dinner party. The Art Deco style goes very well with Georg Jensen's Manhattan bar set. When the board is not in use, it looks great as a decorative object on a table or shelf.
The Swedish prince Sigvard Bernadotte was one of Georg Jensen's very first star designers. His work shows a love of craftsmanship combined with an uncompromising modernism, and he was assigned the task of leading the design house's transition from art nouveau to a more functionalist, Scandinavian aesthetic. His timeless design objects have become true classics.
With a history spanning more than 100 years, Georg Jensen represents unique craftsmanship and timeless aesthetic design ranging from small silverware to watches, jewelery and products for the home.
Georg Jensen's own philosophy was to create democratic design with both functionality and beauty. His craftsmanship and artistic talent, combined with his ability to identify and support design talent, were the foundations on which he built the Georg Jensen business in Copenhagen in 1904.

Hand washing. We do not recommend that interior products made of stainless steel be put in the dishwasher. It can scratch the parts, and the salt and detergent can leave black marks and stains on the surface.
