The beautifully shaped stable is made of glulam. It fits nicely as a frame for other of Köhler's nativity scenes.

The bows go through many stages before they are finished; they are sawn, planed, glued, milled, sanded and carefully polished by hand. They are then applied with wax varnish.

Since 1989, Köhler has made Christmas decorations that you can have for the rest of your life and can pass on to others. From sketch to finished product, each figure is the result of good craftsmanship. They have won several awards and have become a collector's item for many.
