Beautiful coat from Nygårdsanna in handwoven Harris Tweed.

The coat has a concealed button closure at the front, with the top button visible. Classic flat collar and wide sleeves with straps at the armholes. Slant pockets, back slit and removable belt. The coat is lined with satin acetate lining. Wide and roomy fit.

The uniquely numbered Orb label is placed inside the garment and guarantees "the highest quality of tweed, dyed, spun and handwoven by the islanders of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland."

Please note that no natural fibre lining will last as long as Harris Tweed. However, vary the way you carry your bag or backpack, as constant wear and tear on the same spot can damage the lining inside and cause holes.

Nygårdsanna's clothes are modest and subdued. They should never drown out the wearer. For Nygårdsanna, no garment is ready until a person wears it, before it becomes someone's. The clothes must also fit different bodies. The color scale is taken from nature. There are intermediate colors which are strong without being clear, but which are more muted or almost faded hues. The garments are made to be used, worn and patinated. All the clothes from Nygårdsanna's various collections throughout the ages can be combined. Although they are completely different, they follow a clear vision. This also applies to the colors.
