All Day Bucket Piirto Unikko Bag Brown/Black

The All Day Bucket shoulder bag from Marimekko is made of recycled polyester with a jacquard-knit Piirto Unikko pattern. The bag has three compartments: one compartment with a zipper, one regular open compartment and one open compartment with an inner pocket. The adjustable shoulder strap also features the jacquard-knitted Unikko pattern (made of recycled polyamide). There is a Marimekko key ring on the front. The zippered pocket on the back can be closed with a magnetic button. The bag has several details in recycled leather.

Marimekko's famous poppy pattern Unikko was created in 1964, at a time when the design house's collections mostly featured abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from the organic theme and designed a whole series of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
