Highland Sanna Sweater
Sanna is a soft knitted jumper in a unique blend of Ilama and Highland wool. The jumper has a timeless silhouette inspired by a classic men's jumper.
Sanna has details such as a high ribbed neck and finely constructed shoulders that make it a wardrobe classic. The fit gives good width, choose your usual size if you want to have some width in the sweater.
The story behind Aiayu's wool blend is also a story of friendship. The llamas and the sheep that have provided their wool for this product graze together in a rugged environment in the high mountains of Bolivia. These two wool qualities are perfectly suited to be mixed, and produce a warm, soft and durable product. The color is nature's own palette, from the sheep's own natural colour.
Aiayu - pronounced [ai-ya-yu] - means 'soul' in the indigenous Aymara language of Bolivia. Their label was founded in 2005 by Maria Høgh Heilmann to create products with consideration for the environment, the worker and the user. Fabrics are chosen for their structures and tactile properties, how they feel against the skin. The gentle, natural palette reveals materials and yarns primarily in their natural color without the use of chemical dyes. The garments are made in Bolivia, India and Nepal and are closely linked to their origins and people.
