Oiva Pikkuinen Unikko Cup 2.5dl 60-Year Anniversary

Kr 240

This classic cup goes well with both coffee and tea, and is decorated with Marimekko's most famous flower pattern Unikko.

Made as part of Marimekko's celebration of the Unikko pattern's 60th anniversary, the cup has a stamp under the cup showing that

Marimekko's famous poppy pattern Unikko was created in 1964 at a time when the design house's collections contained mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed a whole range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
