Piccolo Potcloth and Potholder
Pot cloth and pot mitt in the Piccolo pattern in 100% cotton with polyester filling. Both have a small hook to hang them up with. 50% of the cotton in the product is recycled.
Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi designed the pattern Piccolo in 1953, the same year she joined Marmekko as a designer. Piccolo is a striped pattern drawn with a brush. Three years after Vuokko drew Piccolo, she made the shirt Jokapoika from the fabric Piccolo. The shirt has become a classic and continues to feature in Marimekko's clothing collections year after year.
Marimekko is a Finnish design house that is recognized worldwide for its original prints and colors. Founded in 1951 by the visionary Armi Ratia, Marimekko is one of the world's first true lifestyle brands that combines fashion, bags and accessories as well as interiors in a timeless, sustainable and functional design. The heart and soul of Marimekko's designs is their own textile factory in Helsinki, where the bold patterns and colors come to life.
