Piccolo Cushion 50x50cm

Kr 610

Cotton pillowcase with the Piccolo pattern. The cover is in organic cotton and is printed in Helsinki. The cover is sewn together from two pieces of fabric, which means that the pattern runs in two directions. The cover has a hidden zip on one side and an inner cushion is included.

25% of the cotton in this product is recycled.

Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi designed the Piccolo pattern in 1953, the same year she joined Marmekko as a designer. Piccolo is a striped pattern drawn with a brush. Three years after Vuokko drew Piccolo, she made the shirt Jokapoika from the fabric Piccolo. The shirt has become a classic and continues to feature in Marimekko's clothing collections year after year.
