Kr 800
Print with motif of Akershus Fortress. Printed in a limited edition on 200g matt paper (Munken Polar) and signed by hand.
Akershus fortress was begun by King Haakon 5 around the year 1299, and already in 1308 stood against attacks from the Swedish Duke Erik Magnusson.
The original medieval castle with four towers and two courtyards stood largely unchanged before Christian 2 upgraded the building mass at the beginning of the 16th century. During the Danish era towards the end of the same century, Akershus fortress was significantly changed and turned into a Renaissance castle.
