Sigurd Resell - Furniture design

Sigurd Resell mostly worked for others, despite this he created his own strong name. During his time at Rastad & Relling, he greatly contributed to lifting Norwegian furniture design beyond the country's borders. Resell's years as designer for Vatne Lenestolfabrikk meant that the company's production multiplied. It says a lot about how important one person can be to a company. Over the past few years, interest in Sigurd Resell has grown and more of his furniture has come into new production.

This publication is part of the award-winning book series that pays tribute to Norwegian designers who deserve a rightful place in people's consciousness.
