The Ukiyo vase is handmade by Marthine Spinnangr in a white stoneware clay glazed with a peach-coloured glaze. The vases are based on a morphed design process of human poses and the name Ukiyo is Japanese and is about the pleasure aspects of life.

Marthine Fredrikke Spinnangr graduated with a bachelor's in product design from Oslo Metropolitan University, and a bachelor's in business administration from the University of San Francisco. The objects are often inspired by nature's own design language and are at the intersection between art and design.
