Angélica León is an Oslo-based brand established by artisan Angélica León. León makes, among other things, tactile and soft jewelery from taguan nuts from his native Colombia. The unique jewelery is designed in Norway and produced in Colombia and Ecuador in collaboration with local craftsmen. The nuts are dyed with natural colors and the harvesting of the nuts helps the growth of Tagua palms in South America. León grew up in Bogota, Colombia, and holds a bachelor's degree in textile design from Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. León's collections are timeless and combine good craftsmanship and durable materials with modern design.
