Växbo Lin is a Swedish brand owned and run by the married couple Hanna and Jacob Bruce. For the couple behind Växbo Lin, it is important that the Swedish industry lives on in order to secure and preserve labor and knowledge. Their contribution is utility items in linen. Linen is a natural material that lasts for several generations. Hanna and Jacob Bruce are convinced that we must consume fewer but better things. In Växbo is Sweden's best-preserved environment from the glory days of linen production. The small flax mills at Trolldalen bear witness to the utilization of water power by the flax-growing common people. With this cultural heritage behind them, Växbo Lin started its spinning mill in 1989. Today, they have the only flax spinning mill in Scandinavia that spins, dyes and weaves its own linen. A total of 13 employees work at the factory in Hälsingland who weave, sew and sell all the linen products. Their goal is to weave together old craft traditions with modern design.
